Or would you have guessed that a 5 m2 (54 ft2) storage unit is sufficient for storing the contents of a 50 m2 (538 ft2) apartment?

Once you have found the right unit, the rest is only a formality: Because renting a storage unit is just as easy and uncomplicated as renting a vehicle. If you are in a particular hurry, it’s best to bring your storage goods with you right away so that you can move into your unit as soon as the contract is signed.

This is how you can rent your storage room:

• Select the location of your choice
• Ask for a no-commitment quote via our toll-free quote request system, our live chat or the toll-free hotline (Mon-Fri 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Sat 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at 0800 49 14 910).
• Upon request: Schedule a personal viewing and consultation appointment (per telephone at the location of your choice).
• Sign the contract (online or on site) – Attention: Don’t forget to bring a piece of ID (passport, identity card)!
• Pay your first rent and deposit (amounting to 6 weeks’ rent that will be returned upon proper return of the unit)
• Receive your personal access code (which you can use to access the chosen location any time between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.)
• Secure your storage unit using a padlock (available from the vending machine in the loading yard and from our (online) store)
• Upon request: Equip your unit with moving boxes, packaging material and shelves via our (online) store
• Move in and enjoy your new storage space
