Self storage is a modern solution for creating additional space outside your home or office. Units come in various sizes to suit your individual needs – from small storage boxes for a few boxes to a larger unit for furniture and goods. With flexible rental periods and daily access, you maintain full control over your stored items at all times, whether for private or business use.

Self Storage Costs & Rental Period

Rental is at a fixed price and is billed every four weeks. The costs of our storage compartments vary according to size and availability. Here you will find a general overview of our prices at the Munich Perlach location:

Rental can start at any time. The minimum term is 2 weeks, the remaining term of the lease can be customized to your needs and can be terminated on a weekly basis. We at MyPlace SelfStorage greatly value long-term relationships with our customers and reward the loyalty of our long-term tenants with a discount of -15 % on the annual rent (in case of prepayment).

How Does the Rental Process Work?

Getting started is simple. Choose the unit size that suits your needs, sign the contract online or on-site, and start using your unit right away. The minimum rental period is just two weeks, after which your contract continues flexibly with a short 14-day notice period.
For last-minute storage needs, you can book online and start immediately. Our team is available during service hours (Monday–Friday 08:30–17:30, Saturday 09:00–13:00) to provide the right lock, or you can use our self-service lock machine on-site for maximum convenience.

How to Reach Our Storage Facility in Munich Perlach

Our new location at Hofer Street 10 is easily accessible by public transport and by car.
Public transport:

  • Bus 196 from Neuperlach Süd (Rudolf-Zorn-Straße stop), approx. 2 min walk
  • S5 (Perlach), approx. 8 min walk
  • U5 (Therese-Giehse-Allee station), approx. 10 min walk

By car:

  • From the city center, take the A8 towards Salzburg to the Neubiberg exit. Keep left towards Neubiberg and turn left onto Unterhachinger Street. Turn right onto Weidener Street via Bayerwald Street, then left onto Hofer Street.
  • From the south, take the A8 towards Munich to the Neubiberg exit. Keep right towards Neubiberg, then turn left onto Unterhachinger Street. Turn right onto Weidener Street via Bayerwald Street, then left onto Hofer Street.

Parking at our location is free for our customers, so you don’t need to worry about long walks or searching for a parking spot.

Ich möchte dem gesamten Team von MyPlace SelfStorage am Standort Hoferstraße 10 von Herzen danken. Vom ersten Moment an habe ich mich dort bestens aufgehoben gefühlt. Jeder einzelne Mitarbeiter ist außergewöhnlich freundlich, hilfsbereit und dabei bemerkenswert kompetent. Man spürt sofort, dass hier nicht nur professionell gearbeitet wird, sondern echte Kundenorientierung gelebt wird. Da ich die Menge meines Hausrats zunächst schwer einschätzen konnte, musste ich kurzfristig mein Lager wechseln. Das Team hat mir dabei schnell, unkompliziert und mit großer Herzlichkeit geholfen, ein passendes größeres Abteil zu finden. Diese Flexibilität und Unterstützung haben mir in einer ohnehin anspruchsvollen Situation sehr geholfen – dafür bin ich wirklich dankbar. Alle Fragen wurden geduldig und verständlich beantwortet. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich, wie individuell auf meine Situation eingegangen wurde und wie sicher und transparent ich beraten wurde. Ich hatte jederzeit das Gefühl, ehrlich und fair begleitet zu werden. Am Standort Hoferstraße fühle ich mich sicher, respektvoll behandelt und rundum gut betreut. Ich kann diesen Standort, das großartige Team und das durchdachte Sicherheitskonzept uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
