From Austrian pioneer to market leader in the German-speaking region
Founded in Austria in 1999 by friends Heinrich Hoyos, Paul Rankine and Martin Gerhardus, MyPlace – SelfStorage developed dynamically with the growing demand for individual storage solutions in German-speaking countries.
A lot has happened since the company’s opening of the first location in Vienna Strebersdorf more than 20 years ago: Now the market leader in German-speaking countries, we currently cover 25-30% of the market volume with 76 locations in the DACH region.
